To add MP3s to your iPod® using iTunes®
Please follow these steps:
Yes,
you can add MP3s onto your iPod® using iTunes®
through the process of ‘Add file(s) to library‘ and ‘Consolidate
files‘.
1. Open iTunes® and plug in your Apple iPod®.
2. Browse your computer where you saved the purchased MP3s and
keep that window open.
3. Make sure the “Music” folder in iTunes® is
selected and displaying your current music collection.

4. Drag one or more MP3s into iTunes®.

5. This
adds chosen MP3s to the library, but
we are not finished yet.
6. Right click any song title in the Music listing and choose "Consolidate
Files".
This
merges the added music files and are then ready to be added to you iPod® through
"Syncing".

7. With you iPod® plugged in click
"Sync iPod".
Please wait for the copying process to complete.

8. Before disconnecting your iPod®, make sure you “Eject”
it properly in iTunes®.

9. If the new songs cannot be found on your iPod® after you
disconnect it from your computer make
sure iTunes® is syncing all music. Check below.
Make sure
the screen for your iPod® is the same as below. “Sync Music”
has “Entire music library” checked.

You
should now be able to find our music on your iPod® using the song name, album,
genre “meditation” or artist.
